Jane Austen Giveaway HOP ✽ May 24 - 27
Welcome! I always look forward to taking part in blog hops—those in honor of Jane Austen, especially. They provide such wonderful opportunities to engage with fellow Austen lovers; some of you for the very first time.
I’ll keep this short and sweet. I will share one of my favorite lines from Jane Austen’s writings with you, in the hope that you will share one of yours with me. I am certain this is no easy task what with so many delightful gems from which to choose. I find the following line particularly diverting.
“Well, my comfort is, I am sure Jane will die of a broken heart, and then he will be sorry for what he has done.”Mrs. Bennet, Pride and Prejudice

So many great lines to choose from! I always like when Darcy says "you showed me how insufficient were all my pretensions to please a woman worthy of being pleased." There's just something about it - I guess I'd love to be judged such a woman by Mr Darcy lol.
