Celebrating June Is Audiobook Appreciation Month

This year, in particular, I had every intention of celebrating June Is Audiobook Appreciation Month in a much bigger way. Life and publishing deadlines had other ideas. Thus, it’s the last day of June and my first opportunity to recognize the occasion formally.

Better late than never.

Even though I did not spend as much time talking about audiobooks as I had hoped, June still brought plenty of happy news.

My greatest triumph this month was another wonderful Chirp Freebie Friday promotion. My featured audiobook, To Refuse Such a Man, was claimed an incredible 8,493 times. Even more exciting, the other four featured titles, Something to Think Of, As Good as a Lord, Matter of Trust, and Only a Heartbeat Away, garnered more than 2,400 copies sold.

This was my fourth Freebie Friday feature with Chirp, and they just keep getting better. I am incredibly grateful to everyone who downloaded, listened to, and reviewed these stories. Your enthusiasm means more than I can say.

I also published three new audiobook bundles—now available on Audible, Amazon, and Apple Books.

Another highlight of the month was the launch of my first new story of 2026, Bewitched, Bothered and Besotted. I am delighted to share that it is now available in both eBook and paperback editions.

As a special treat to close out this year’s celebration of June Is Audiobook Appreciation Month, a lovely extended excerpt from Bewitched, Bothered and Besotted is now streaming on YouTube. I hope you will settle in, press play, and enjoy this delightful sneak peek.

Happy listening!
